Message the Mood Candles is a love project I’ve been working on for two years. The idea is to create candles that reflect one’s emotions. If you’re feeling sad and wish to feel a little better, light a happiness candle. When the candle burns to a certain point the consumer will have access to a message related to the candle’s emotion (thus the name message the mood).

The logo needed to reflect the moodiness of the candles as well as the fact that there are messages in every jar. While the idea for the branding was to create designs that would reflect the candles 4 emotions; Happiness, Sadness, Anger, and Calm. The hard part was trying to figure out a way to keep the designs consistent while also maintaining their individual emotions.
